Requirements

To ensure secure and standards-compliant communication, Porsche requires all business partners using PGP for encrypted email exchange with Porsche, to follow the best practices published by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).

Their PGP key must conform to the best practices outlined and published in BSI guideline TR-02102.

The following minimum key lengths, depending on the algorithm used, are mandatory:

RSA: 3000 bits
DLIES: 3000 bits
ECIES: 250 bits
DH: 3000 bits
ECDH: 250 bits

Porsche only accepts partner PGP keys that have a maximum validity period of 3 years.
